Review # 1 was written on 2009-06-13 00:00:00 Justin Rice There's nothing like reading science books from the 80s! Gorman is a scientist-turned-humor-writer and is so entertaining! On many occasions, I thought I was reading Douglas Adams. He writes about neurobiology, evolution, flea farms, toilet mechanical engineering, and all sorts of other stuff. His style is casual and witty while covering a wide breadth of science and technology. What more can you ask for?

I enjoyed his mix of humor and scientific facts to weave a tapestry of chuckles and learnings. I bought it from half-priced books based on the cover and description for some light reading while on lunch from CompUSA. It filled the gap perfectly!
