Review # 1 was written on 2014-10-20 00:00:00 Sean Murphy Looking at his life backwards, from the end at the Alamo and before that his three terms in Congress, his service in the army - this was a fascinating man and a true American hero. Before then, it's very tough to separate the fact from the fiction. I didn't like the running cartoon in this book - too repetitious.

Review # 2 was written on 2011-11-12 00:00:00 David Seidenfeld It was interesting to read about all the adventures Dave went on and at such a young age. I didn’t know he died in war. I liked to hear that he used tall tales to communicate and relate to people. I wonder if he was as well liked as it seems according to this book. Great introduction to Dave Crockett.
