Review # 1 was written on 2010-06-29 00:00:00 Sophia Vargas First book required for my doctoral program in music education. Contemporary Music Education (4th ed) is an excellent survey of music education in the USA from the Pilgrims around 1620 through the early 2010’s when the book was published. It was refreshing to see the original template for why music was first taught in the schools in comparison to the multiple expectations put on music educators in our days.

Review # 2 was written on 2019-05-29 00:00:00 Everett Courter A well-written and engaging account of the history of wine-making in Burgundy as well as some of the key players - written in 80s so some things are obviously different now. Still well worth reading if you are heading to Burgundy and/or are interested in the wines of the region.
