Review # 1 was written on 2010-02-04 00:00:00 Joseph Graziano It had some practical information, but I went away feeling like this book isn't just for the shy, but for the socially incompetent. Sometimes I was reading, thinking, "Are people really this psycho?"

Review # 2 was written on 2012-10-15 00:00:00 Frederick J Bergeron II I liked this book. It was oddly specific with lots of little chapters on a lot of distinct situations when people may need support...after a car accident, went cleaning out old photos, after a miscarriage, waiting for biopsy results etc. There is no radical magic to any of the suggestions...a lot is about really caring, really listening and letting the other person lead.
