Review # 1 was written on 2008-07-13 00:00:00 Vivek Bhardwaj I have the hard-cover version, but it wasn't available at goodreads or amazon. It is a good concept, the editing and proofreading are inadequate: errors from previous editions still exist in the newest (8th). Some of the chapters are much too difficult (assume more familiarity and comfort with mathematical thinking) for a person whose last actual mathematics class was 20 years ago...

Review # 2 was written on 2009-03-25 00:00:00 Humza Paruk This is the worst math book I've ever used. Even my last teacher is contemlating not using it ever again.
