Review # 1 was written on 2020-11-06 00:00:00 Erik Delissen I found this textbook absolutely brilliant! It does what it says: It teaches statistics without bogging the reader down with formulae. You learn how to think and how to apply statistics. If you're interested then, you can google the exact math. To be honest, this book has helped me in understanding some concepts for the very first time. When I was younger, I was able to do the math, but I didn't know what I was doing. The only downside are the SPSS screenshots. The font is too small! |
Review # 2 was written on 2016-03-29 00:00:00 Laurence Gilbey Don’t let the three stars fool you – this is a really useful statistics book. However, for me, I picked it up at the wrong point in my learning. This is one of those books you read at the start of your understanding or when you want a refresher course. If you’re someone who is already well informed, this feels as though it doesn’t really cover much. A good place to start, though. |
