Review # 1 was written on 2017-10-26 00:00:00 Steven Ojeda Excellent book on metrology. The author keeps it interesting throughout most of the book. (I got a little tired of non-SI units at the beginning.) If you are interested in how units came to be what they are, this book will probably tell you, and the origins of the name, as well. I also found it helpful for nuclear radiation units and a better understanding of the mechanical, thermal, and electrical analogies. Definitely recommend to those interested in units. |
Review # 2 was written on 2010-08-21 00:00:00 James Grider This book was probably "Groundbreaking" in the early 1960s. Did not finish. |
