What can I say about "Quantum Mechanics Demystified" in two words - It's difficult to open this book, but as soon as you open you will hardly close it and feel the time. So David McMahon really demistifies Quantum Mechanics. Quantum Mechanics seemed to me as a dark room where I can never find the switch for the lights. However, a small recommendation of my professor to read this book had a huge impact in understanding this unknown world. This book is cool and quick starter for everyone who wants to study Quantum Mechanics by self-teaching. Of course you will not get every tiny intricacies of it. It was a pleasure for me to read scientific and abstract content of the Quantum Mechanics in the most simplified words. Descritption, premise, conclusion, formula and example are great ingirdients of this book. Everything is understandable in a smart manner. In addition to this, luckily, I had a compatible knowledge in Calculus, Linear Algebra, Vectors, Complex Numbers and Engineering Maths that helped me clearly to understand each step of this book. A basic knowledge in these fields are enough to digest information of this book. However, there was no clear idea why we need to use this formulas and other things. For example, why do we need Hilbert Space, or what is exact formula of wavefuntion. Neverhteless, it was a book that opened my eyes and mind to read some more complex works. And many thanks to the author, hoping that I will continue reading Demystified series. In conclusion, I want to say that Quantum Mechanics is very abstract world to most of us, as Max Tegmark notes that many physicists also do not understand it clearly. This science demands a huge quantity of knowledge in mathematics rather than physics itself. But the world of Quantum Mechanics is attractive.

to be honest this book is a very good trial to cover a lot of heavy topics in quantum mechanics and a trial to cover its mathematics by a good way but the book is from the worst content you can find for a QM book as you are a beginner you will get lost as there are many and many typos and errors in equation , formulas even the examples solutions you have to be be careful when reading such a book I use it for a revision on what I have studied last semester to get prepared for my Advanced QM course and this is the only way this book would be useful for
