It's more than how the design reflects our views of public and private activities or how we group certain work areas together. Indeed, it's even more than how we clutter our living space with memories of the past. If you are willing to really look and listen, these areas tell secrets. The Secret of Home is an amazing book that teaches us how to see (and change) our personal stories by reading our houses. The method used is part Feng Shui, part divination, and part psychology. By following the steps provided, we learn what areas of our life are missing, skewed, or simply ignored. Moreover, our homes provide clues about how to heal the past, reclaim relationships, or address issues. Perhaps, what is most interesting is that we often don't see what is right in front of our own face. We may spend years walking by a picture and never understand the significance of that image. We have absolutely no clue how we've twisted our thinking so that we only see part of the picture.

Review # 2 was written on 2020-05-14 00:00:00 Eric Fry Este autor ha escrito muchos, pero muchos libros sobre feng shui y otras " filosofías " tanto orientales como occidentales, en su prólogo escribe el cómo se inició en este rollo del feng shui, lo cual ocurrió a través de las matemáticas (esa parte sí me gustó, le da su valor al estudio de las matemáticas). Y eso esría un buen punto de partida para leer y entender el feng shui, pero, oh, luego se va por otro camino, que ya no me gustó, y es el de simplificar demasiado el método de las orientaciones, darles los nombres de "casas" del "dinero" "la pareja", "los hijos", etc. Aunque esta forma de ver las orientaciones de los diferentes espacios en las viviendas no es cien por ciento erróneo, está demasiado simplificado y no se explica de dónde salieron esos conceptos. Lo recomiendo solo para los que quieren saber de qué se trata más o menos el feng shui, no para aprender algo serio.
