Review # 2 was written on 2017-01-17 00:00:00 Danny Rhodes Swami Vivekananda was one of the most dynamic and vibrant personalities to have walked this earth. His words leave one astounded. This book is no different. His ideas on religion and spirituality are still refreshing 120 years later. Swami Vivekananda has made it abundantly clear that fear and worry are the enemies of realizing our true nature. Following religious doctrine without finding out for oneself what is the truth through subjective experience is the most dangerous way to live. His ideas on an impersonal God and self-misery caused by ignorance of the True self (one of freedom, without bondage and limitations) always leave me feeling inspired. Every time I read Swami Vivekananda I feel uplifted and encouraged. His words remind me of my higher-self, and I am always left vibrating higher.
