When I first became a college student, this book was a general introduction to my field. I totally had no idea about engineering written in this text. As a non-native speaker, this book is not written in plain terms and I remembered it that this book was a hard choice and just threw it away. My life have been fluctuated since then and now I became an engineer and tries to be a better one. Just as a refreshment, I picked this book up and finished this time. And I would say if I read this book back when I was a freshmen and understood it, my life would be different now. I don't feel remorse at my fault but I would recommend to read this book who wonder what an engineering is or what engineers are doing.
