Review # 1 was written on 2015-12-16 00:00:00 Andrew Bolduc Time Out is out of time I hope they plan to update this guide soon, as it's outdated, published in 2014. You can't be sure what is still around, restaurants and stores recommended might be gone now, in 2017. It's better than nothing, but check out other guides for newer guides.

Review # 2 was written on 2017-08-25 00:00:00 Bradley Calcaterra Surprising for a travel book: Very complete! lots of info for tourists and citizens alike. Info about touring, sightseeing, restaurants, hotels and shopping - along with tips, sneak peeks, extra information sourced from locals. Out of every travel book I have read, this one turns out to be the best (along with Insight City Guide). I feel like knowing much more of the city with this guide book. I don't need anything else to know about places in New York, what they eat for breakfast, the most romantic and expensive hotel, the decor of an expensive restaurant, the places African Americans usually live, the libraries.. etc etc. BRAVO!
