Review # 1 was written on 2014-11-10 00:00:00 Felix J Delatorre It is a great book from a paternal grandma, telling the story of a grandma waiting for her grandchild. My mother-in-law died of cancer 6 months before my husband and I married. Before she died she gave us a few books for our future children. This was one of them. Her inscription reads, "To my sweet Angel From Heaven Love Grandma Carol." Try to read that each time you open the cover and not tear up.

Review # 2 was written on 2018-11-17 00:00:00 Peter Armour This book is sweet, but it reminds me of how weirded out I am about the preoccupation with babies having 10 toes. Like... what if they don't? Now what? Are you going to reject them? They have the toes they have. They are here for you to love. I mean, I'm pretty sure no one actually freaks out, right? But this book just makes me think that. And I'm also certain that it is in no way what Bowen is implying. I just can't think of this book without thinking this.
