Let's see if I can squeeze thoughts into words. So, this is kind of sequel to Soul Retrieval, healing tips after retrieving lost soul parts. Soul retrieval is a wonderful healing experience, but how long will the soul remain whole if nothing is done to change repeating patterns, damaging life situations or whatever one has gone through? Facing the facts and taking action to change and heal can be hard, but they are necesssary. This is what the book aims at, gently invites one to think what lies behind the soul loss and how to keep recovery going on. However, I think the book is...Too tender. With returning soul comes denied or lost memories. Hidden feelings, ancestral traumas and other very heavy issues. There (in the book) could have been a mention of this and a suggestion to have family or close friends to support you or even seek professional help to make sure that these issues can be handled safely. I'm not a fan of core-shamanism or the path Ingerman represents, so there are a lot of things that I disagree with...But they are my personal thoughts and unnecessary for the review! Three stars: a lovely book, written in Ingerman's simple and warm style, but nothing groundbreaking.

I don't know, this really didn't do a lot for me. It reminds me of "Spirit Song" another book I wasn't too keen on although it was structured differently. There were some exercises at the end of each chapter which could be used with some spiritual counseling clients. Although according to this book, I should undergo a soul retrieval as it's possible that a part of my spirit was taken when I left medical school which is entirely possible although I think a part of me left when I arrived in Augusta.
