Review # 1 was written on 2010-11-21 00:00:00 Addison Golladay Slightly dense in some places, but enzyme mechanism diagrams help a lot with visualization. Explanations are detailed and there are enough problems at the end of each chapter to keep an undergraduate busy for a while. Overall, this book should be sufficient for an introductory survey course in Biochemistry (this is the context within which I used it as a student). |
Review # 2 was written on 2017-06-24 00:00:00 Fred Schnee It is a useful book when you're studying both Biology and Chemistry. It is helpful with some of the parts which were more detailed and also it has a mixture of both of the subjects. Truth be told, I love reading all of the Science subjects and Chemistry was my favourite. |
