Review # 1 was written on 2009-11-30 00:00:00 B V This is a comprehensive 101, and I would recommend it to those willing to read and sit with some serious information (not a read for those who only want to skim... though there are plenty of tables and lists for the visually oriented!). Review # 2 was written on 2011-07-27 00:00:00 Stephen mcguinness 'd been meaning to read this book for months, and finally got around to it - WELL worth it! Taormino is one of the "up & comers" (no pun intended!) of the new generation of sexologists/sex researchers & educators, and reading this book, it's easy to see why she's making waves. Liberal, open minded, well-researched & non-judgmental, this book is clear & concise, filled with both great factual info and a wonderful sense of humor about its topics. I especially enjoyed the chapters on Fantasy, Anal Play, and BDSM - *extremely* well-written & well-researched. This woman knows her stuff!!
