Review # 1 was written on 2015-02-18 00:00:00 Aldo Allen I've actually gone through several mediocre Statistics books before settling on this one. They all seem to be identical from the outset, but this one explains things a little bit more clearly than the others. The only thing I didn't like, apart from the huge-page format and the annoying "International Edition" crap on the front was the fact that certain key ideas were explained on the basis of examples and even exercises that were seen previously. This required a lot of back-and-forth flicker, which I found to be annoying. (And impossible if you are on an e-reader.) Overall, I would recommend this as a general-purpose beginner stats book. |

Review # 3 was written on 2020-03-07 00:00:00 Sixto Orzales This can be a difficult read. The exercises are pretty good. However, I think more work is required from the Author and the Publishers to make the information easier to understand. |
