Review # 1 was written on 2011-08-02 00:00:00 Tom Schippers There are few people that would capable of trying to put together a history of warfare spanning from the Trojan War to the Gulf War without truly screwing it up. This guy pulls it off with style. Its such a huuuuuuuuuge subject that you could write a thousand books. But for a really truly good overview of warfare in western civilization and how it has affected us this is the only book you need.
