Review # 1 was written on 2019-08-17 00:00:00 Steven Wilburn I did *not* read this book cover to cover, but I just finished the last chapter required for my MBA financial accounting course so marking it as read is the one thing I can say I actually accomplished in this class. |
Review # 2 was written on 2011-03-30 00:00:00 Helen Matteson Too dense to explain accounting I suffered through this book for my accounting course at Fuqua, Duke's School of Business. Although it was written by two highly lauded Duke professors, this book is not easy to understand and quite verbose and confusing. I learned the basic concepts by teaching myself with the practice problems and answer guide rather than reading the chapters. The concepts are explained in too much detail and not in a logical order, which makes reading this book with tiny print unbearable. I do not recommend this book if you have no basic knowledge of accounting. |
