Review # 2 was written on 2014-06-10 00:00:00 Heather Nolan Ah, this abc book is definitely like an exhibit of paintings, one per letter. The audience needs to be an older child, not a preschooler learning their letters. Adults would love it as the more one looks at the painting the more one sees. F is for fog, l is for lighting, u is for umbrella and the painting is a beach scene that appeals to adults. Paintings are done in acrylics. Why do we assume that abc books are for the five and under set? Mainly I think because the objects are just that an object to correspond to a specific letter. This title is so much more.
