Review # 1 was written on 2019-03-25 00:00:00 Greg Regalado This was the 1st book I learned to read and I still own a copy! This book was so beautiful and detailed and impactful for me. I'll always cherish this book and can't wait to share it with the next generation.

Review # 2 was written on 2012-03-25 00:00:00 Debra Clary I really liked this book because of how real the plot was. The characters in the book talked as they would in real life making the whole experience exciting. The storyline was just as great when the mother finally sat down and listened to the music the boy was making and found that it wasn't just ruckus but real music. What i got from the story was that in order to feel good about something you got to feel good about yourself first. The little girl had no responsibilities and/or hardships so Willie Jeromes music was magical to her, but the adults trying to get through life found it to be a distraction because they didn't take the time to stop and just listen.
