Review # 1 was written on 2009-04-07 00:00:00 Karen Monegatto Wow! These textured, moving poems accomplish so much with such spare language. Cooper's own thoughts on the craft of poetry, included in the middle of this text, are fascinating.

Review # 2 was written on 2017-02-15 00:00:00 Jesus Diaz This book contains some useful practical advice and I appreciate the author for teaching about an important aspect of communication that isn't often taught elsewhere. However, the book also has a lot of filler anecdotes that I didn't care for and that would best have been kept in separate chapters from the actual advice so that readers could more easily just read the parts they were interested in.
