Review # 1 was written on 2016-11-14 00:00:00 Paul Zahodnik I picked up this book so that I could understand the game dynamic of fire prevention. This is a great book on the subject and it takes you thought a lot of history that you will find interested. The history of fire prevention is very interesting to me as we see the same trend happening with information security. |
Review # 2 was written on 2015-01-21 00:00:00 Dennis Koch JS tends to writes her romance very methodically in a formulaic way. Working from Monday to Friday, the heroine visits her father over the weekends, comes back home, then its Monday-Friday again, in between she meets up with her dates, repeat. Redundant? Yes, but the narrative was captivating & it definitely build up the tension/chemistry between them. Therefore her books usually work for me. Minus the overly, completely done conclusions JS is famous for. Of course, I normally skimmed the endings once the hero & heroine starts dissecting their problems down to every bits & pieces. This one had like 30 pages worth of it. |
