Review # 1 was written on 2011-02-17 00:00:00 Garry Olson I've been trying to learn French for a hundred kabillion years and have had to buy a lot of different text books. The advantages of this one: it's cheaper and doesn't try to woo me with cartoons and characters. It doesn't pretend to be fun. And guess what, it's not! I appreciate the honesty. The disadvantages: all of the explanations are completely in French.

Review # 2 was written on 2010-01-14 00:00:00 Rastapitan Sdfdsf We used this book and its accompanying workbook in my 3rd year French classes at University of Washington. Now this is an essential grammar reference with very clear explanations and great examples.
