A gorgeous abridged, retelling of the classic children's story "The lion, the witch and the wardrobe." Aimed at a slightly younger age group than the original novel it has all the elements of the original and leaves nothing of the story out. Highlighted throughout with scenes from the Disney movie it's a lovely way to introduce kids to the Chronicles of Narnia series. A great read.

I thought "Narnia-Peter's Destiny" was a really good book and was just like the film, the film is called "The Chronicals of Narnia-The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe." It is the first "Narnia" and it is all about four evacuated children called Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy who get evacuated to the country-side and start living with the professer and his house wife. When they played hide and seek one day when it was raining, Lucy finds a wardrobe in the spare room and hides in it, she moves back away from all the fluffy coats and falls over into a strange wood full of soft snow. But when she comes out and tells her family they don't belive her and starts to cry. But a few days later when they play baseball, the kids break a suit of armor and try to run away from the housewife and hide in the wardrobe and they all arrive in the snowy forest in Narnia and Peter, Susan and Edmund feel quite guilty!!!
