Review # 1 was written on 2017-04-01 00:00:00 Dennis Mailahn I enjoyed reading it even though it is not my kind of book. Mostly predictable, simplified and based on stereotypes it still refreshes. Story of an Indian lawyer in London with normal quota of ambitions, anchors, doubts and dreams. Primary anchor being parents who artlessly murder the language of their adopted country and have little appreciation for finer sensibilities. There are places where you would giggle or roll your eyes and these were mostly attributable to parents' antics. I might read the debut novel of hers. |
Review # 2 was written on 2008-12-16 00:00:00 Alicia Nisbet Light, improbable chick flick. Thoroughly enjoyable. |
