Review # 1 was written on 2015-09-05 00:00:00 Martin Gonzalez A bit of a lightweight. Like many I enjoyed his TV series, his way of talking to camera as though he was addressing you, much like Rick Stein, not surprising as they had the same producer/director. This looks as though it was produced purely to make a bit more money. Regrettably in many of his TV series he attempted to cover far too large a territory. To try to encapsulate the whole of Med cuisine in 140 pages is impossible, and it shows. If you regard this more of a snapshot travel guide with some good photos, then it succeeds. As a cookery book it fails

Review # 2 was written on 2014-02-17 00:00:00 Justin Lund Terrible. In effect, comparing this book with his amazing books from the 80's, is the reality of my negativity. Definately one that was an after thought to compliment a wonderful TV series.
