The most important thought I pulled from this book is probably what author's write entire scientific books about emotional abuse and recovery about: YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR THOUGHT PATTERNS ABOUT PAST HURTS. YOU CAN TURN BAD MEMORIES INTO NOT SO BAD MEMORIES BY CHANGING THE WAY YOU THINK ABOUT THEM. I can begin to heal myself by changing my own toxic feelings. WHOA! I plan to put this to use right away :) And this book was very fun to read because the author is British so the humor is more like home :)
