A great family saga about the youngest in the family and the trials of persuing his dreams. There is love, hate and war. The details of Africa paint a picture. The sadness of war and the horror of war let you in on the truth of war. Great read.

Review # 2 was written on 2020-09-19 00:00:00 Neil Duyck Well researched..but... Enjoyed much of the continued story of the Killmaster family especially Probe but found the idealistic opinion of the English soldier VERY distorted concerning the Irish. Very lacking in the state of mind of the soldiers and their hatred for the Irish people.
