Memang, tak hanya perempuan saja yang mempengaruhi dirinya -- persahabatan dan keluarga adalah hal lain. Yang menarik dari buku ini, Elsner berhasil membeberkan, jika bukan memjelaskan, kontradiksi-kontradiksi si kumis tebal, yang pembaca Nietzsche tahu, dan saya rasakan, sangat mengganggu.

Review # 2 was written on 2009-03-21 00:00:00 John Kemp This book along with Francois Gilot's biography of Picasso fed my obsession and mania for Picasso. I completely fell in love with him, and, because of these two books, understand, completely, why so many women fell to his feet. He was charming, witty, prolific, and always curious. Of course I loved his work for years, but to learn more about his life and the challenges he faced and the love he put into his work made me appreciate him more.
