Review # 1 was written on 2013-02-21 00:00:00 Christin Scroggins This is a wonderful book. I recomend it to everybody. The best aspect of this book is every theorem is given in most general terms. For example you don't need to see the proof of a theorem in real numbers field and then see the more general proof in metric spaces. Every symbol, every concept is explained in the book. The book is written carefully. It is a dense book. And at the end of every section there are exercises. They are very good selected questions. If someone spend time to solve/prove half of the exercises I think he can be very good at analysis. This is one of the best math book and definitely the best analysis book I have ever read. |
Review # 2 was written on 2014-01-04 00:00:00 Justin Wittmann Probably the best introduction to analysis. Clearer, IMO, than Abbott or Pugh. |
