Review # 1 was written on 2014-08-15 00:00:00 Matthew Brannon mostly "masterplots" - no analysis of meter which is what I'm desperately looking for.

Review # 2 was written on 2016-07-31 00:00:00 Donald Steirer This collection of essays are not to be taken as a basic introduction to Native American literature. As these Cambridge series works often are, they are "companion" pieces to a readership who already has some basic knowledge on the topic and would like to explore further. With its chapter outline, it serves a good survey-purpose. It provides a historical context, lays out genre related structures and focuses on individual authors. It's a good initial guide book for those interested.
