Review # 1 was written on 2017-05-16 00:00:00 Francisco Laboy Iii // Book #3 for BTAT 2018! My heart is full to bursting. Rereading this after nearly ten years was the best decision I ever made. I wasn't aware of how faithful the movie adaptation actually is to the book and I was so happy to see that basically all of its dialogue was directly taken from the book. Cornelia Funke is just iconic and I am blessed to have grown up with her fiction. The problems she deals with in her Die Wilden Hühner series are so fucking real and so important for young people to think about. If I had kids, I would honestly shove this on them. It's just timeless. When I was younger, I had the biggest crush on Willi. I have since altered my stance on "bad boys" and love to call them out in fiction (...and real life, lol) but Willi holds a special place in my heart. He truly was my first. ;)

Review # 2 was written on 2016-07-06 00:00:00 DeAnna Jeffords Diese ganzen Dramen von Teenagern sind schon sehr unterhaltsam und niedlich. Schade, dass die Reihe nun zu Ende ist und ich bin immer noch beleidigt, dass Cornelia Funke die Rechte weiterverkauft hat und dann EIN MANN es wagt über die Wilden Hühner weiter zu schreiben! ;) Aber in 10-15 Jahren werde ich wieder zu der Reihe greifen und mich an meine Teenagerzeit erinnern :)
