Review # 1 was written on 2014-01-25 00:00:00 Lee Martin This work is important on two factors; it is the earliest work I have found so far on the modern informal economy and it is very diverse in its explorations covering most of the globe in one respect or another. With those positive points made clear; this book is nothing more than a gaggle of socialist sociologists blathering away about something they are institutionally conditioned to neither respect nor understand. The net result is a bunch of "doubleplusgood duckspeak" with very little normative value.
