Review # 1 was written on 2008-05-25 00:00:00 Richard Paris Mmmmmm...pie. This is the cookbook to have on hand after you watch the movie "Waitress". It seems like there could be some winners in here by virtue of the fact that the recipes come from working bakers. I want to try Sour Cream Raisin Pie and Mississippi Comfort Pie. The weird thing about this collection is that it repeats the same pie from different parts of the country. I guess it would be interesting to do a taste test to compare which one is better...

It contains a few crust recipes, as well as pie recipes from around the US and Canada, separated into chapters by region. Most, if not all classic pies are covered here, and some old recipes with a new twist.
