21 Days to Baghdad The book 21 Days to Baghdad is a very good book for my age group and older. The book is in the soldier's perspective, and what they said the author documented. It tells how the different squads of soldiers were trying to get into the city of Baghdad, and that was not as easy as you think. The Army, Marines and Air Force lost men, but for every Marine or Army Ranger that got hurt during the push into Baghdad, 92 Iraqis lost their lives. The book was really moving and it definitely made me think about how much the the men and women in the military risk their lives to keep this country safe and terrorist free. The soldiers in the book would talk about what they had seen on the roads and other areas leading into Baghdad, and how those sorts of things should never have to be seen by anyone. The soldiers that had to see all of those things are strong and powerful, and deal with those things better than many other would. Like I said before, I thought the book was very moving, and I really loved how they wrote the book in the soldiers perspective (I haven't seen that many times before). I don't think that kids younger than me should be reading this book because it talks about violent situations and has some harsh pictures in it, but it is fine is my age and older. I recommend this book to people that love reading about U.S. history, battles and the war. I really think that the author who wrote this book was a really good idea about "21 Days" and I gave this book five stars. I gave this book five stars because it was really interesting and realistic. People should read it because they can learn about what the soldiers did and what they had to go through on the way into Baghdad. Another reason I liked this book so much was because my dad and some of my friends dads or moms have been to baghdad, and they know what It was like there. And trust me, from what my dad told me about his tours there, he knew he had to be there to help, but he would have rather been home with the family. If any ever has a dad or mom that has to go away to a war, just be strong the time will go by really really fast.

Time's photographers and correspondents provide exclusive, eyewitness accounts of Operation Iraqi Freedom. In just three weeks, U.S. and British forces sprinted 350 miles from the Kuwait_Iraqi border to downtown Baghdad. Although a lot has happened since this book was written, it is a complete account of the first 21 days of the war. I read the whole thing in one sitting. Some very graphic photographs and quotes from everyone from Bush to Saddam to the Iraqi people and the people of America, etc. Check it out!
