Review # 2 was written on 2016-01-25 00:00:00 Fernando Castillo The subtitle of this book made me think it was mostly about the Iran hostage crisis of 1979. However this book is so much more. It provides a glimpse into the lives of ordinary Iranians. It tells of the close knit communities and families and how they welcomed an American bride. It gives a viewpoint that could only be achieved by living among them as a member of the family.
