This is a largely useless book. It reads like a rough outline, inadequately fleshing out the hundreds of concepts principles it presents. There are dozens of vague, if not cryptic admonitions that leave one wondering exactly what the author meant. Drills are mentioned, but not described. When described the description does not instruct. It is poorly illustrated. There are 57 stretching photographs divided between the "agility" and "stretching" sections. Contrast that with three photos for the footwork section. THREE. For the single techniques section only one photo per technique--showing the terminus--is provided. There are two photos illustrating "direct attack" and none for "indirect attack". There are six pages of text and charts on counterattacks accompanied by one picture. And what does stretching have to do with agility? Got me. If this were a manual meant to go with a video series, I'd understand it...but it apparently isn't. I call it a fail.
