Review # 1 was written on 2011-10-23 00:00:00 Cassandra Morrell A bit of a drag especially at the beginning. More like a book dedicated to the infamous Deirdre O'Connell. Her tumultuous life and her pure dedication to theatre. The other O'Connells seemed insignificant after a while. But one thing is for sure, it doesn't matter which part of the world you are. As long as one is willing to work hard and persevere, everything will eventually fall into place.... |
Review # 2 was written on 2013-01-06 00:00:00 Stu Rohrer An inspiring overview to the great minds and methods that have influenced the contemporary theatre world today. Great to track ideas that are now pitched as new back through the centuries and to read about big ideas realised in climates more hostile to arts funding than the current one. |
