This was pretty educational. Aside from the ghost and haunting stories it gave a lot of information about the Civil War. It was interesting to know that there are so many "haunted" places in the area that I live. There were a lot of editing errors in this book, which normally doesn't bother me at all, but they popped up a lot. But all in all not a bad read.

Florida provided many supplies ti the neighboring Confederate States during the American Civil War. While unable to provide much money or many men, agricultural products from the state vastly helped the Southern cause economically. The author discusses Florida's role siphoninging off ships in the Union blockade as well production of such products as cotton, corn, beef, and salt.
