Review # 1 was written on 2007-09-06 00:00:00 Bernard Rogers Debra Nystrom can tell a story in a poem and have it be both a good story and a good poem. She writes about growing up in the Dakotas and about watching her community grow older and be unable to give up or keep the ranches they own. She brings a clear social awareness to her work that I also appreciate.
