Review # 1 was written on 2019-10-01 00:00:00 George Jones If one is interested in the contents of Jung's Aion (collected works 9 volume ii) but find Jung difficult to read or inaccessible, this is a great book to help break down the concepts without compromising the integrity of the work. If one can read and understand Jung well, this is an excellent companion to Jung's Aion but the reader may find more worth in the "Conversations on Aion" section between Drey and von Franz. 3/5 because I was hoping the material in this book would be comprised more of Hannah's original ideas rather than Hannah's ability to translate Jung. I couldn't mark it down too much though because the interviews with von Franz were fascinating. |
