Review # 1 was written on 2014-03-12 00:00:00 Chad Koch Interesting read. The author's curiosity is not 100% contagious, but I liked how he covered several grounds, describing the architecture of centuries-old monuments as well as military maneuvers. It would be a great book for anyone interested in or researching these campaigns... it's just that, personally, I got a bit bored.
