Review # 1 was written on 2019-06-18 00:00:00 Sheena Terrell A great book if you're looking for sources on many different aspects on Hitler's war in the east. Many of the sources are only available in German or Russian but fortunately the vast bibliography provides a solid amount of English sources as well. The book is broken down into approximately 30 page sections dealing with different aspects of the war, policy and strategy, the military campaign, war of annihilation, occupation, and results. Each section covers the vast literature on the topic and a very broad overview of the topic at hand. I would absolutely love to get my hands on an updated copy of this book to see what new sources are available. As it is I have a good list of "need to read" books added to my amazon wishlist so I'd best get back to it....
