Review # 2 was written on 2010-07-04 00:00:00 Jeremiah Haist I picked up this book hoping to find a succint description of the essential tools, gear and knowledge for a beginning camper. What I found instead was a diatribe against people who look to the gear and the tools to ease the way in camping and very little in the way of an easy to absorb checklist. I expect I'll have better luck finding what I'm looking for with a Google search. At least it was a quick read.
