Review # 1 was written on 2013-03-01 00:00:00 Chuck Bond I will never give a textbook 5 stars, but when I actually perk up while reading a textbook after drifting to sleep from a novel I was reading, that's a good sign. This is probably the most useful text for me to re-read as a teacher of many ELLs. It would be smart to read a chapter every few weeks throughout the year and remind myself of what matters.

Review # 2 was written on 2014-07-10 00:00:00 Ralph Briscoe This is a really great book for teachers who are working with students who are learning English. The main focus of the book is alternative forms of assessment, though it also covers a wide range of other relevant and important topics. My favourite aspects include the blackline masters in the appendix and the examples of student work included in each chapter.
