I think I'm not smart enough to understand this book; there was so much philosophy and so many words. It is a book that would be much more enlightening to read and study as part of a college class. It was a difficult read but I did finish it; unfortunately the ending was as inscrutable as the beginning. The only think I really took away from it was a sorrow that the book was written in the late 1940s and, sadly, things are not much different today.

Great book. Interesting, but can also be picked apart for analysis. Liked this book for a long time. Especially nowadays during the modern time, I think many can relate to isolation, even if it is not for the same reasons as the Invisible Man.
