Review # 1 was written on 2019-04-22 00:00:00 Brian Gonsalves Very detailed, quite icky. I do not recommend reading this while eating. Probably quite helpful for the medical students.

Review # 2 was written on 2012-12-19 00:00:00 Ruth Korn Decent introductory text for an undergraduate Drugs & Behavior course. Some of the information seemed a bit dated - especially related to stigmatizing terminology (e.g., abuse terminology rather than use terminology). I would like to see an updated version with less stigmatizing language. Additionally, more in depth information regarding models of addiction development & treatment would be great to have; however, I recognize that may be outside the scope of an introductory Drugs & Behavior class (perhaps better suited for an Addiction Treatment course or even graduate-level coursework). I also appreciated this text's frequent inclusion of current events as relates to drugs & behavior/society.
