Review # 1 was written on 2017-06-19 00:00:00 Reba Williams I enjoyed this book as I think it was written for someone like me. The title or description of this does not indicate WHO this book is for. Seems like the author wanted to apeel to the masses, but it's very clear this is for a certain type of reader. City dwellers need not apply. Also, for a second edition from 2008, it felt outdated at times and I could do without some of the politics. Talked about not smoking more than once... seemed strange to put in a book about how to be mortgage free. Tying this book with more permaculture information would be awesome!

Review # 2 was written on 2010-03-08 00:00:00 Rex Hampton Most of these strategies probably won't work for my husband and I in the future, but the book did get me thinking about being more aware of environment and energy efficiency when we do look to build. Plus it's always inspiring to read of people free from the debt trap--we're getting there!
