Review # 1 was written on 2009-04-19 00:00:00 Todd Reddick If you have a reluctant reader, then this book is a great choice for you. They'll enjoy the graphic novel style theme and even learn about the Boston Tea Party at the same time. Not meant as a resource book, it focuses on the reasons it happened and the people involved. A nice quick read. |
Review # 2 was written on 2013-04-12 00:00:00 Mark Seidel The Bombing of Pearl Harbor by Joe Dunn offers a historical account using graphics to describe the attack on Pearl Harbor during the start of World War II. This book is at a 5.2 reading level and uses wonderful presentation of the topic through the use of graphics so that readers will be interested in the events of a very important day in America's history. This text would be a great asset to use when students are learning about the attack on Pearl Harbor. |
